Hot Potato Salad in Frankfurter Ring

6 to 8 slices bacon, chopped 1/4 cup chooped onions
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 cup water
3 tbsp. salsd dressing
4 cups diced cooked potatoes
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 kilo frankfurters cut in half lenghtwise
2 hard-cooked eggs sliced
1 tbsp. minced parsley
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove most of fat. Add onions and cook until tender but not brown. Blend in flour, sugar 1 1/2 tsp saltand pepper. Add vinegar and water. Cook stirring constanly until thick. Remove from heat and stir in salad dressing. Sprinkle potatoes with salt. Pour dressing over and toss lightly. Stand frankfurter ha;lves upright around insaide of 8″x2″ baking dish. Fill center with potato salad. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20 minutes. Top with eggs slices. Sprinkle with parsley and celery seed. Serve hot. Serves 8.
