Tuna Loaf with Egg Cream Sauce recipe, Filipino Recipes

4 cans 184 grams tuna flakes 2 cups of soft bread crumbs 4 eggs slightly beaten 1/2 cup onion minced 1 tbsp. Maggi seasoning savor 1 pc. Maggi chicken cube 1/4 cup pimientos, diced 2 tbsp. pickle relish 2 cans 170 grmas, Nestle cream 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

lettuce and tomatoes for garnishing

EGG CREAM SAUCE: 1/4 cup butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 Maggi chicken cube 1/2 cup hot water 1 can 170 grams Nestle Cream 4 pieces hard boiled egg, mashed 1/4 cup pimientos, diced

salt, pepper, vetsin to taste

Combine all ingredients in a bowl except lettuce and tomatoes. Pack into two (3×8)greased loaf pans. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees F. oven. Remove foil and continue to bake for another 10 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean. Let cool for 15 minutes and unmold in serving platter. Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes.

Sauce:
Melt butter in sauce pan in low heat. Add flour and continue to stir. Dissolve chicken cube in hot water and add into butter mixture. Continue to stir until thcik. Add eggs and pimientoes. Serve with tuna loaf.
